Good news for all self-employed chiropodists and podiatrists: the FIF-PL has voted to increase the ceilings for continuing education funding.
This revaluation, effective from October 1, 2025 , marks a strong commitment to the development of professional skills.
A breakthrough driven by union mobilization
This development is the result of in-depth work carried out within the FIF-PL management board, where representatives of all liberal professions sit.
The decision comes after a major mobilization, notably by the National Federation of Pedicurists-Podiatrists (FNP), which argued for the importance of better financial support for training.

What will change from October 1, 2025
The new ceilings bring a significant improvement to the funding granted:
- Daily care allowance: increased from €200 to €300
- Annual budget per professional: from €600 to €900
An opportunity for all chiropodists/podiatrists wishing to train, specialize or develop new skills, whether it be treatment techniques, practice management or other areas essential to their practice.
How to benefit from the new FIF-PL amounts?
To benefit from these new amounts, it is essential to follow the usual procedure: the request for support must be submitted before the start of the training.
All detailed information and eligibility criteria are available on the official FIF-PL website.
