Description

Corn dressings - box of 5 - Urgo // Expired Date

Clearance: Best before 09/2026

Thanks to their hydrocolloid mass, URGO Corn Treatment dressings relieve pain from the first application and eliminate pressure zones caused by shoe friction. In addition, the softening and moisturizing action of glycerin helps to soften and remove the corn gently. Ultra-thin and transparent, they ensure total comfort and discretion in treating corns.

Directions for use:

  1. Ensure that the skin of the corn shows no lesion, wound, or redness.
  2. Soak the foot for 10 minutes in warm water.
  3. Clean and disinfect the corn and its surroundings with an antiseptic solution (alcohol-free). Rinse, then dry with a sterile compress or leave to dry.
  4. Warm the dressing between the hands.
  5. Remove the first protective flap without touching the central adhesive part of the dressing.
  6. Apply the hydrocolloid dressing centered on the corn; the corn must be completely covered by the dressing.
  7. Remove the second protection by smoothing and pressing the edges of the dressing to increase adhesion.Replace the dressing according to the instructions, on average once a day, or when it starts to wrinkle. The dressing should not be left in place for more than 2 to 3 days, after which it must be removed if it has not come off on its own.
  8. Once the dressing has come off, remove/scrape the excess softened skin from the surface of the corn and apply a new dressing if necessary, according to the directions for use.

Indications/precautions:

  • Hydrocolloid dressing, non-sterile, indicated for the treatment of corns
  • Do not cut. Single use, do not reposition a dressing once applied, do not reuse the same dressing (risk of poor hygiene and lack of adhesion),
  • Do not apply to damaged skin or a wound (risk of infection)
  • Do not apply a dressing or remove an already applied dressing and consult a doctor or podiatrist:
    – in case of worsening of the corn or lack of improvement within 6 days of treatment,
    – in case of signs of infection (redness, pain, heat, swelling around the wound, pus, etc.)
  • It is recommended that diabetic patients only use hydrocolloid dressings under medical or nursing supervision.
  • In case of sticky hydrocolloid residue on the skin, soaking in water is recommended: the adhesive will swell, lose its stickiness, and come off.
  • Do not use these dressings for more than 30 consecutive days.
  • Keep the dressings in their original box.
  • The product is to be applied by an adult for children under 16 years of age.

Side effects:

  • This dressing may cause skin reactions such as redness, irritation, dermatitis, or pain upon removal.

To minimize any risk of infection or skin reactions:

  • Strictly follow the directions for use. Do not reuse a used dressing
