General and technical information
Swann-Morton scalpel blades have a worldwide reputation for unparalleled quality. They are not originally manufactured for use in podiatry, but in practice, they have proven perfectly suited to this purpose!

These blades are sold in boxes of 100 individually wrapped sterile blades.

Usage tips
Sterile scalpel blades No. 10 are used with a No. 3 or No. 9 blade handle. They are particularly suitable for the treatment of plantar corns, calluses and heel calluses.

Cleaning and decontamination tips
Sterile Swann-Morton scalpel blades are for single use only. They must therefore be discarded after each use.
The blade holder handle is reusable in its stainless steel format, and must therefore be decontaminated in an ultrasonic bath and then sterilized in an autoclave.

Maintenance and warranty
Swann-Morton scalpel blades have been manufactured in England since 1932. They are sold with a sterilization validity of at least 3 years and up to 5 years.

Security
The use of scalpel blades is not without risk. 90% of accidents occur during blade removal at the end of treatment.
