AriaPad is effective when the back of the foot is wrapped and covered by the upper part of the shoe. This way, it is possible to increase the contact surface between the shoe and the foot.

For this reason, the device should not be used with ballerinas, loafers or pumps, i.e. shoes that are too open at the instep.
