Use :
Contraindication: The orthosis should not be used if the big toe is no longer mobile laterally. Do not apply to damaged skin. Do not use in cases of diabetes, arteritis, neuropathy of the lower limbs or ulcers.

Description :
- 1 mm of Epithelium 26®.
- Joint pain and contact pain linked to hallux valgus.
- Re-aligns the big toe, relieves joint pain and protects the “exostosis” from contact with sheets, mattresses, etc.
- Patented thermoformable orthosis: you mold the orthosis to your patient's foot in a few minutes. It is therefore very comfortable because it is adapted to its body shape.
- Scalable: the orthosis can be thermoformed several times to obtain a progressive level of correction.
- Machine washable at 30°C in the washing net provided.

INDICATIONS
Daily wearing of an EPITACT® corrective night orthosis helps correct hallux valgus deformity. It helps relieve nighttime joint pain and eliminates contact pain. The orthosis can also be used during rest periods during the day.

CONTRAINDICATIONS
• Big toe not mobile laterally.
• Do not use this product while walking.
• Do not use on a skin lesion.
• Do not use in cases of diabetes, arteritis, polyneuritis, neuropathy
lower limbs or ulcers.

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE
• First of all, check that the big toe is still mobile laterally
when handled. If this is not the case, do not use this device.
• The orthosis can be thermoformed either on the right foot or the
left foot.

- THERMOFORMING: Follow the thermoforming instructions provided. The Orthosis
night corrective can be thermoformed several times.

- SET UP :
• Pass the forefoot through the large bracelet.
• Then insert the big toe into the small sleeve.
• Ensure that the white target is located at the level of the “exostosis”
(see diagram in the thermoforming instructions provided).

- TERMS OF USE :
• During the first 3 uses, it is recommended to wear the orthosis
2 hours only.
• During subsequent uses, the orthosis can be worn for several hours.
Joint pain may be felt during the first uses.
• A 2nd thermoforming to increase the correction can be implemented
work (see thermoforming instructions provided).

COMPOSITION: 52% thermoformable plastic,
28% polyamide/elastane fabric, 20% silicone.

INTERVIEW
• Machine wash at 30°C in the washing net provided or by hand
(without rubbing).
• Allow to dry naturally. Do not iron. Do not expose to
heat (>50°C).
